    • CHAMPIONS CUP: LOUW NAMED CAPTAIN FOR TOULON TRIP

Starting for the first time together in the front row are loosehead Nick Auterac, hooker Rob Webber and tighthead David Wilson. Dominic Day and Dave Attwood are in the second row, with Louw captaining the team in a back row also featuring blindside Matt Garvey and number eight Leroy Houston.

Chris Cook and George Ford are named in the half-backs, as Kyle Eastmond and Ollie Devoto make their fourth consecutive start together in the midfield.

A potent back three is comprised of wings Matt Banahan and Semesa Rokoduguni, along with fullback Anthony Watson.

It will be the first time 1998 European champions Bath have ever faced the three-time European winners, with the Club making their first outing in their new black and gold 150th anniversary European jerseys.

    • Come to the Captains Run next Friday!

Hi team! Come and join me at the Rec this half term as I host Bath Rugby’s first Free Open Captain’s Run of the season on Friday 30th October.

      Discover more!

The session is free to attend, gates open at 10.00 and training will start at 11.00. Not only do you get to watch the squad training, but you’ll get to meet them afterwards too. The players will sign autographs and have pictures taken with you when they’ve finished, and I’ll be there too!

The day after we take on Harlequins at the Rec, kick-off 13.30. As it’s Halloween, I’d like all my Junior Members coming along to get their best scary costumes on. If you look scary enough, you’ll get to come on the pitch at half time to take part in a pitch parade with me!

I hope to see you all there.

    • Team News: Bath Rugby unchanged for Aviva Premiership Final

Bath Rugby have named an unchanged matchday squad for the Aviva Premiership Final at Twickenham against Saracens this Saturday (kick-off 14.30).

      Discover more!

The 23 players who all featured against Leicester Tigers in last weekend's 47-10 semi-final victory at the Rec have now earned the opportunity to play in the biggest fixture in English club rugby.

Anthony Watson will make his 50th appearance for the Club at fullback, with Matt Banahan (who scored the first ever hat-trick in a Premiership semi-final against Tigers) and Semesa Rokoduguni on the wings.

Kyle Eastmond and Jonathan Joseph are paired in the midfield for an impressive 19th time this season. Peter Stringer and George Ford start in the half-backs, in what will be the Irishman's final appearance for the Club. It will also be the last time loosehead prop Paul James runs out in the Blue, Black and White, as the Welshman packs down in the front row with hooker Ross Batty and tighthead David Wilson.

Captain Stuart Hooper and Dave Attwood are named in the second row. Sam Burgess, Francois Louw and Leroy Houston continue in the back row.

"Following our performance in the semi-final we thought about making changes, but it's hard to change a winning line-up," said Head Coach Mike Ford. "We've made sure that nothing changes this week, especially in how we have approached the game. It's a hugely exciting day for everyone involved in the Club, and we're really looking forward to getting out onto the turf at Twickenham against very good opposition."

Information for parents

Set your kids on the path to being legends in the making

The ultimate aim of the Junior Membership Club is to inspire more children to lead fitter, healthier and more active lifestyles. We have set up an initiative called the ‘Children’s Challenge’ which is a set of fitness games created by the players aimed at girls and boys aged up to 15 years.

  • Please be aware that should your child attend any Junior Membership Club events throughout the season, photographs may be taken and used in the future to publicise the Junior Membership Club. If you do not wish your child to be involved in any photographs please make a member of staff aware at the time.
  • Each member is issued with a membership card with unique club ID on. These cards do not count as valid match tickets and should not be used to gain entry to the Recreation Ground on a matchday.
